WSU is conveniently located on the corner of Narellan Road and Gilchrist Drive, positioned immediately north-west of Macarthur Station. As of 2021, WSU Campbelltown supports a cohort of close to 7,000 students, and offers degrees in medicine, health, sciences, nursing, law, and business.

With a range of supportive educational, research and ancillary facilities, such as The Observatory and Uni Clinic, as well as a strong medical and allied health presence, WSU’s Campbelltown campus ensures its students emerge job-ready and with relevant, real-world experience.

The state-of-the-art School of Medicine is the home base for WSU medical students, as well as the School’s academics, researchers and support staff.

The School of Medicine is one of the most advanced medical training centres in Australia. The school provides students and researchers with specialist teaching and laboratory facilities, including simulated learning spaces for clinical skills learning, an anatomy laboratory, problem-based learning tutorial rooms and state-of-the-art research equipment.

Recognised for its excellence and impact, WSU was named among the top 250 universities globally and ranked 13th nationally in the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The university also achieved a ranking of number one worldwide in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings, scoring 99.1 out of 100 for our social, ecological and economic impact.
